Peach Slices Blueberry Ice Cream Sheet Mask uses milk protein to soften and nourish skin.. Delicious and potent ingredients like blueberry extract and peptides help replenish and firm skin.
The color of blueberries is a result of compounds called anthocyanins, powerful antioxidants that shield the skin against harmful free radicals that can damage the collagen that keeps your skin firm. On top of that, blueberries are also packed with vitamin C, another antioxidant crucial for collagen production.
My skin is feeling pretty normal today. There is the usual redness and slight dehydration. I’ve cleansed and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I caught a light fresh fragrance. Essence was clear and had a runny consistency.
The mask material felt moderately stiff and thick. It did not come with a backing but was easy to unfold and apply.
Fit was average to good. The eye holes were slightly too small but the overall sheet size was decent. It required folding and overlapping material to get a good fit. This was due to the lack of slits.
Adherence was also average to good. Since fit was perfect, there were some lifts which in turned introduced more air bubbles. By the end of the masking session, the material around my chin was hanging loose.
I took the mask off after 30 mins, it was still dripping wet.
The remaining essence patted in with ease, leaving behind a non-tacky and matte-looking finish. This reminded me of Taiwanese masks.
Hydration was moderate and moisturization was barely present. This is the perfect finish for oily skin in the summer. But combo and dry skin types might find it insufficient.
The usual aspects that I look for, plumping, calming, brightening, skin texture, and pore size, performed averagely. The before and after pictures had barely any improvement.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
This was a cute mask but I don’t think it’s right for me. Nevertheless, the Peach Slices Ice Cream and Popsicle series comes in 4 variants so hopefully I’ll like another variant better. Check out more Peach Slices review here.
