This variant that I’m trying out, Helloganic One a Day Vegetable Sheet Mask – Hydrating, features coconut fruit extract and rose flower water as the main ingredients.
An excellent humectant, topically applied coconut has moisturizing effect and prevents water loss. Due to its high nutrient values, Coconut extract helps diminish the appearance of acne scars.
Rose water helps maintain the skin’s pH balance, and also controls excess oil. Rose water has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce the redness of irritated skin, get rid of acne, dermatitis and eczema.
My skin is extra sensitive and red today. Sebum-wise, it’s feeling like normal skin with the usual slight dehydration. I’ve cleansed and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I caught a moderately light fruity fragrance. Essence was clear and runny.
The eucalyptus fiber sheet felt thin and very smooth. It did not come with a backing.
Fit and adherence were great! I was able to apply the sheet mask without a mirror. It was a very large sheet so coverage was great. I appreciate the larger holes to accommodate features of all sizes. Also, the larger holes prevented essence from getting into my eyes and mouth. The sheet clung on not like second skin, but still very well.
I removed the mask after 30 mins, it was still slightly damp.
The remaining essence absorbed with moderate ease, leaving behind a slightly greasy and dewy finish.
My skin felt intensely moisturized but just slightly hydrated. This was more suitable for dry skin. My combo skin still felt tight and dehydrated. I applied a gel moisturizer and that eased the dehydration slightly.
My skin was not as plump as I’d hoped. Nevertheless, my pores did seem slightly less obvious and my skin texture looked slightly smoother. Most of my redness seemed to have subsided too.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
This variant performed very similarly to the firming variant, except this one did not have as much of a firming effect as the other. It still gave me healthy skin overall, just had to prep my skin with watery layers prior to masking. Can’t wait to give the other variants a try! Check out more Helloganic reviews here.
