Merbliss Wedding Dress Intense Hydration Coating Nude Seal Mask claims to coat the skin with an extra layer of hydration to illuminate skin’s brightness. This mask aims to prep the user’s skin for important events like weddings!
My skin is extra sensitive and red today. Sebum-wise, it’s feeling like normal skin with the usual slight dehydration. I’ve cleansed and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I caught a moderately strong fragrance. Essence was clear and had a runny-gel consistency. The mask material felt really thin and soft and came with a thick plastic backing to hold its shape.
Fit and adherence were great! The material was so thin that it conformed and clung onto my skin tightly. The overall sheet size was on the large side but it was wider than it was long hence my chin was barely cupped.
I took the mask off after 20 mins, it was still very damp.
The remaining essence absorbed into my skin with ease. Finish was tacky and dewy at first but quickly dried down to a non-tacky feel with a silky finish.
My combo skin felt nicely hydrated and moisturized. I was able to layer on a gel moisturizer and sun block without feeling heavy. As such, I think this is suitable for all skin types.
The greatest improvement I saw was to the tone of my skin. My skin tone looks even and smooth.
There was only a slight reduction to my redness but the mask did not claim to calm skin so I’m fine with that.
I think this mask was true to it’s claims. However, as redness is one of my major issues, I don’t think this is suitable for my skin type. This is suitable for people experiencing dryness and dullness.
