Review: Hello Skin Jumiso Yes I Am Toner AHA 5% ★★☆☆☆

Hello Skin Jumiso Yes I Am Toner AHA 5%

Flush away dead skin cells with Jumiso Yes, I am Toner. This versatile toner contains AHA 5% in the form of Glycolic acid and lactic acid to detach dead cells lingering on the surface of the skin. This light formula absorbs quickly to hydrate the skin and deliver its benefits.

The Yes, I am Toner is composed of several unique herbs and plants to serve different benefits. Houttuynia cordata is rich in antioxidants for anti-aging and polyphenols which helps to reduce inflammation. Lemon myrtle extract (Blackhousia citriodora leaf oil) has oil balancing properties and also gives the toner a pleasant scent.

How to use:

After cleansing, dispense product onto cotton a pad and gently swipe across the face, avoiding the eye area. Follow up with moisturizer. Apply SPF30 or higher if used during morning routine and do not use this product in conjunction with other facial scrubs or products that contain AHA, BHA and Vitamin C.

125ml of clear, runny toner came in a tall plastic bottle with a screw on cap. To dispense, simply shake the bottle a couple of time over a dry cotton pad. It gave off a moderately strong citrus scent which I find rather refreshing. Absorption was quick so no wait time is needed.

Hello Skin Jumiso Yes I Am Toner AHA 5%

I’m a regular user of AHAs so I know how an effective AHA feels like on my skin. This toner, albeit light and doesn’t irritate my skin most of the time, I still prefer By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water. Jumiso’s AHA 5% toner definitely does its job of resurfacing my skin but having sensitive skin means glycolic acid can get a little too irritating at times. Plus, I’m not a huge fan of skincare with noticeable natural scent and this one definitely was a little too strong for my liking. I think this is better suited for non-sensitive skin types and people who do not mind scents in their skincare.
